Accredited Webinar: Reframing False Narratives and Exposing Misleading Defense Claims

July 25 @ 11:00 am - 12:00 pm

Are you making the most out of your time and opening statements? Tune into this webinar to learn how to present a compelling case by reframing false narratives and exposing misleading defense claims.   In the realm of litigation, the power of narrative can be a decisive factor in the courtroom. This presentation, led by Ilya Lerma, a National Trial Lawyer from Arizona and with Ilya Law & Ilya’s Law Consulting, will equip legal professionals with the strategies to dismantle the defense’s misleading narratives. By employing truth-based reframing, attorneys can effectively present their case in the opening argument, ensuring that the jury’s first impression is rooted in fact rather than fiction. The session will delve into techniques for analyzing and countering the common misconceptions of “frivolous lawsuits,” “greedy lawyers,” and the so-called “litigation lottery,” setting a factual tone from the outset and steering the trial towards a just outcome.

Please note: Justice HQ is currently in the process of renewing our Multiple Activity Provider Status with the California State Bar to issue educational credits for our programming. This process may take up to six weeks. As long as our status is renewed, live attendees who register with a California State Bar ID will be eligible for one general credit/hour. Our team will notify registrants as soon as possible when we hear back from the State Bar if anything changes. This program is open to current Justice HQ members on both the Collab and Cultivate plans.
