JHQ&A

All new members must commit to a six or twelve month term.

Plaintiff, consumer-advocate attorneys who are actively in good standing with their state bar may apply for a membership. We do not allow non-attorneys or those with serious strikes against them on their state bar records to apply.

You do not have to reside in California – our memberships are open to all eligible attorneys residing in the United States.

At this time, the Base Membership Plan is where all memberships begin. This includes plenty of virtual benefits all members can leverage.

There is a one-time $250 joining fee for all new members. Beyond that, you will never be charged more than your monthly membership due if you are not booking spaces or taking advantage of any additional add-ons.

Firms cannot apply for Premier Memberships, as these are partnerships decided and voted on by our Board of Directors.

If you would like multiple individuals from your firm to access JHQ benefits, you may include Team Access Pass add-ons or contact info@justicehq.com for our Firm Membership details and rates.

At this time, we do not offer an option for permanent space to individual members, and this is only available to our Premier Member Firms. We encourage our members to embrace a hybrid work model, and we intentionally structured our memberships to offer flexibility in how, when, and where members work.

Private offices and conference rooms are all reservable through our Member Portal. Instead of paying high rates renting a single space, JHQ members are able to work from a variety of locations as part of their membership.

With this structure, members have comfortably been able to expand their practices to meet with clients local to HQs. Based in Northern California, but meeting a client in Los Angeles? We have you covered.

In 2022, a Justice HQ membership grants access to our Downtown Los Angeles, Santa Ana, Torrance, and San Diego HQs.

Justice HQ is not a referral service, and we do not send cases to individual members.

However, we encourage collaboration within the community and instruct members to utilize the Member Directory to search for fellow members with a particular skill set, area of practice, or who are located in a geographical region if they have work to refer.

We’ve also made it easy for members to refer work to one another by creating the JHQ Case Exchange. This creates custom notifications members can sign up for based on the type of work they are willing to accept.

Members are also encouraged to utilize the Case Referral Slack channel to send cases and work to their fellow members.

Active members do tend to pick up cases and work from the membership, but this is not an inherent benefit or something Justice HQ guarantees.

It is not! Any eligible and approved attorney can join Justice HQ.

As of July 2022, and excluding individuals from our Premier Member Firms, 41% of our membership consists of solo attorneys, while 59% of our membership consists of individuals from small to large firms.
